OutValue provides structured dispute resolution for all transactions processed through the platform. Escrow and dispute protection are only available for on-platform transactions.
How disputes work
Step 1
Customer raises dispute
Reference a specific checklist item within 48 hours of completion
Step 2
Evidence submission
Both parties submit supporting evidence within 24 hours
Step 3
Mediation review
Our team reviews all evidence within 72 hours
Step 4
Resolution communicated
Outcome delivered with clear reasoning to both parties
Step 5
Appeal window
Either party may appeal within 48 hours of the decision
Possible outcomes
Full release
Payment released to business in full
Partial refund
Partial payment to each party based on work completed
Full refund
Full payment returned to customer
